Kish Island
Kish Island
Kish is a 91.5-square-kilometre (35.3 sq mi) resort island in the Persian Gulf. It is part of the Hormozgan Province of Iran. Due to its free trade zone status it is touted as a consumer's paradise, with numerous malls, shopping centers, tourist attractions, and resort hotels. It has an estimated population of 20,000 residents and about 1 million people who visit the island annually. Kish Island was ranked among the world’s 10 most beautiful islands by The New York Times in 2010. Foreign nationals wishing to enter Kish Free Zone from legal ports are not required to obtain visas prior to travel. Valid travel permits are stamped for 14 days by airport and Kish port police officials. Though being a very small island, there are many attractions around the island that make it a tourist-oriented place. One of the spot that draws many visitors is the Greek Ship stranded near to its shores. To this day, it is not clear how the ship got stranded. It is said by the locals that the sailors who boarded the ship have tried many unsuccessful attempts to re-float it, but eventually had to abandon it. They burned down the ship while they left and all what is left is the steel structure. Another attraction is the underground ancient aqueduct also called the 'Underground City' which is partially open for tourists. The underground aqueduct was built around 1000 years ago for transportation and water supply across the different parts of the island. ( Website : www.kish.ir )

Mohammad Nouhi has elected for Asia Vovinam Federation
World Martial Arts Festival 3rd Edition was organized in Iran, Kish Island from 18th to 22nd October 2012. Vovinam was one of the most successful sport competitions in heart of festival games which included both men and women styles in variant form and fight categories.
Asia Vovinam federation General Assembly and Election Meeting was held in presence of 14 country members throughout the Asia continent, the countries Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Philippines, Iraq, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Australia, Afghanistan, Lebanon, China, Syria, Turkey and Islamic Republic of Iran participated in Election Meeting. The all above said countries representatives unanimously has elected Mr. Mohammad Nouhi as President of Asia Vovinam Federation for next four years.

I.R.Iran first founder of World Martial Arts Veterans Federation
Following successfully holding of first and second World Martial Arts Festivals in the years 2008 and 2010, the 3rd Edition of World Martial Arts Festival made history, the above said festival was organized in Iran, Kish Island from 18th to 22nd October 2012. One of the universal movements during the festival was the World Martial Arts Veterans Federation meeting. The meeting includes many veterans of martial arts society throughout the world from 70 countries and Mr. Mohammad Nouhi was elected as President of World Martial Arts Veterans Federation. Holding above mentioned meeting I.R.Iran was counted as the first founder of Martial Arts Veterans Federation in the world. During the meeting Mr. Mohammad Nouhi President of I.R.Iran Martial Arts Federation and President of World Martial Arts Veterans Federation has announced that we have tried our best to attract martial arts veterans in order to promote martial arts thoroughly and support veterans and champions in martial arts society.
